Fics like One Good Day

“You're sidelining us for some insipid appointment?” Robin screeches. “What could possibly be so important that you would delay the return of interdimensional interlopers??” At this, a dangerously gleeful grin spreads across Damian’s face. On a kid like Robin, such an expression could be considered cute or even funny. On a full grown man, they all take one step back - well, except for Black Bat. She seems equally delighted by whatever she’s seeing. “You know what - you’re right,” Damian tells Nightwing. “I think that you can help us with this little project of ours.” “Oh, there’s no way that you’re actually the Demon Brat. He would never ask for help,” Red Robin mutters under his breath. “I’m older than you, I think,” Damian points out. Red Robin blinks, processes this, then proceeds to have mild conniption. “Answer me!” Robin yells. -- (Set after Robin War. The Batkids encounter a new villain that sends them into a different dimension where Dick Grayson is the youngest and that's the least of the differences.)
