Fics like Apple Pie Spies

“Ma completely refuses to write her apple pie recipe down,” Kon explains, leading Tim over to the kitchen island. “She’s convinced if she does that Margeret from bingo will find a way to break in and steal it.” “She will!” Ma defends. “She’s already tried three times! It’s only due to my quick wit that I managed to keep it from her. I had to burn all the remaining copies to stop her! Last year at the Jones’s pot-luck I saw her put a slice in a pot to take home and- would you believe it- Annie told me she was trying to test it to find the ingredients! ‘Not on your nelly’ I told her! I had to steal it back before she could find out.” Kon just sighs like he has heard all of this before, but Tim is fascinated by the old lady beef. Who knew Margeret from bingo would stoop so low. - Or, slice of life TimKon at the Kent farm in Kansas.
