Fics like On my knees before myself

Just when Deborah—a nun long accustomed to silence and solitude—believed she had made peace with her life of quiet devotion, Ava appeared. A young woman adrift in the aftermath of her parents' death, Ava carries a need she doesn’t fully understand—only that it aches. Drawn to the monastery in search of something more than comfort, she awakens in Deborah a forgotten part of herself, questions, desires, and a quiet yearning buried long ago beneath faith and grief. But life—gentle and unpredictable—often leads us where we least expect, and what begins as an act of help slowly becomes a journey neither of them could have foreseen.
