Fics like Remedy

Sooo…I was listening to the song “Remedy” by Jagged Edge and this fanfic idea came to my mind based off the lyrics. If you’ve not listened to this song….please do!!! It starts with a text. Outside. That’s all Annie needs to hear to feel her heartbeat in her throat. Smoke doesn’t waste words—he shows up at her door with a chilled bottle of Dom, a crooked smile, and a look that says he came to ruin her in the best way. Their night is a blur of tongues, tangled sheets, and her screaming his real name—Elijah—as he takes her slow and deep, claiming her like he’s the only one who ever will. And in the quiet after, something lingers. Something more. Now, still glowing and sore at work, Annie’s trying to focus on hospital rounds while her coworker teases her for the dazed smile on her face and the extra sway in her walk. But Smoke’s text history is still open on her phone. And tonight? She’ll answer it all over again. Because he’s more than a craving. He’s the remedy.
