Charles Leclerc is made of fire on track and quiet intensity off it, a man who carries the weight of Ferrari’s legacy in the set of his shoulders. Alexandra Saint Mleux knows this better than anyone. Spanning a year of races, losses, and private victories, this fic explores the unsung rhythm of their relationship: the jetlagged reunions in foreign hotels, the way her hands steady him after a DNF, the stolen laughter between press conferences. It’s not about the podiums, though she’s always there, a flash of elegance in the garage, but the moments no camera catches... Like winter mornings in Monaco, where Charles forgets he’s a star and just learns to make coffee without burning it. Or midnight drives through Emilia-Romagna, where Alexandra reminds him that some roads don’t need to be taken at full throttle. But when a brutal season tests his resolve, their quiet understanding becomes his lifeline. Because Alexandra doesn’t love him for his trophies. She loves him for the way his voice softens when he says her name, for the nights he lets himself be just Charles, and that, perhaps, is the greatest support of all.
