Fics like Heat Crash

Ren has spent four years pretending to be something he's not. With illegal suppressants and scent blockers masking the truth, he's managed to live like a Beta, unnoticed and unclaimed. But when his suppressants fail at the worst possible moment, his carefully constructed world collapses. Dr. Kaera Voss, a composed and quietly protective Alpha who runs a small, discreet clinic catches the faint, sickly-sweet scent of an Omega in distress. When she finds Ren burning up and barely conscious in an alley, she makes a choice: protect him, no matter the consequences.
