Fics like A Scam, A Stunt, and a Kid Called 'Good PR'

Foster kid Peter Parker barrels around a corner with a rescued cat in his arms and a cop hot on his heels. He collides with Tony Stark and blurts, “Dad! You gotta help me!” in front of a dozen cameras. The media eats it up, and Tony rolls with it, because why not? It's good PR. The narrative writes itself. And everyone loves a good redemption arc... All he had to do was borrow the kid, smile for the cameras, and hand him back when the buzz dies down. Easy. What could possibly go wrong?
