Fics like The embrace of absence

Till thinks back to those women, sharing heat on each other’s laps. He remembers Ivan’s chest pressing against his back on that hospital bed, his chilly palms soothing the burning ache of his bruises until Till’s warmth slowly seeps into his skin. He wonders if there could be a common ground to be found between the two. So what if he wants a little comfort? And what if he can’t take it from anyone else? Is that really so wrong? - Set after "Scars" and shortly before "Remember Everything". An exploration of Till's lingering queer desire, Ivan's own, and what they could have been to each other, had they been a little braver.
