Fics like folded heart, paper moon, oceans tide

“You’ve just never been in love, so you wouldn’t know what it’s like.” It hits him how she didn’t think his last relationship was anything special. It makes him wonder how much time he’d wasted chasing a feeling he wasn’t even able to capture. Ricky thought he was in love. For a little while, at least. Until he realized that he could never love someone as much as he loved the buildup before it all. The clouds of romance swirling together, the thrill of the chase all culminating into one huge storm that’d electrocute his entire core with excitement. Except, the clouds dissipate and the sky clears. The world continues to spin and Ricky’s left staring at the puddles on the ground. Completely un-electrocuted. Needless to say, he agrees. He’s never been in love and he wouldn't really know what that looks like. He’d been much more focused on the thoughts and emotions that were easier to decipher. Such as storms and the drama that comes with chasing them. He may not know what love feels like, but he knows what he wants. He wants to run. Ricky chases storms. Gyuvin creates them. By fate or by chance, their lives come crashing together.
