Fics like damocles

When Hoseok presents as an omega, his life effectively ends. Coveted as nothing more than a political pawn in his sire’s attempts to expand his territories, he’s married off to alpha Kim Namjoon. But he quickly realizes there’s been a critical detail omitted from him- his new husband is part of a mated pack- something considered scandalous under his father’s rule. Overwhelmed, Hoseok tries to adjust to a new life amongst a pack who clearly weren’t expecting another omega, but it’s no small thing to come to terms with the lingering resentment of being seen as nothing more than an unwanted guest. Especially when, after expecting to share his first heat in his new husband’s bed, Namjoon enters rut and calls for his first omega instead. Things get worse, and then they get better. [title taken from sleep token's damocles]
