Lucifer is many things. The flicker of a candle flame. The shadow coiling in the deepest corners of a room. The endless void between the stars. They made a deal, when Lucifer first careened into Alastor's life, but for what Alastor can no longer entirely recall. Power, perhaps, or freedom. A glimpse of eternity reflected in Lucifer's eyes.
