Fics like I’m So Tough, I Give No Fucks (and You Can Call My Bluff)

Määnin and Tommy have always been inseparable, first as best friends, then as bandmates, but love exploded in between the two, longing that ached deep beneath the surface. Määnin drowned his feelings in liquor and hookups, convinced Tommy could never want him back. Tommy spent nights working through the dawning realisation that he was in love with his straight best friend. But one impulsive confession changes everything, and suddenly their friendship ignites into something far deeper. In Vörå, love like theirs is risky, and their relationship is kept confined to closed doors. Tommy dreams of a future without shame and without hiding, and Määnin wishes he could be the type to be out and proud...but too much is holding him back. Tommy will be patient for him, but Määnin has to conquer the small challenges first, push past the fear of what could happen and look towards the potential light.
