Fics like AS IT WAS

Jungkook thought he knew what love was supposed to be. He thought it was something loud and abrupt because that’s what he’d been taught, what he’d lived. Jungkook was straight. He was sure of it. Looking for the kind of love that should be chased down and tackled, loud, reckless, simple. The kind that set fire to everything or burned out fast. But then, in the quiet between heartbeats, it hit him, quiet and unrelenting, that love could be softer, slower, and deeper. That the person he’d been searching for wasn’t a stranger at all but existed right in front of him from the very start. In his best friend Jimin. The person he loved most was right there all along. The one who held him steady when he was falling apart, who saw him without pretense. He never imagined love could feel like this, deep, steady, and raw, like falling without fear, finally knowing he belonged. Jungkook isn’t scared of it. He’s swallowing it whole, hungry for every piece of it, because with Jimin, he’s finally found everything he didn’t know he was missing.
