Newt Scamander, wizarding society’s most renowned Magizoologist has finally left his quiet and ordered life in his estate in Great Britain, to travel all the way to America. Muggle America to be precise. His reasons for doing this while probably numerous, all have the underlying theme of answering magizoology’s greatest question of the day. That is – Muggles? Man or Beast? If this had been a thousand or so years ago the question would have been simple. Even Pureblood nuts like Salazar Slytherin had never doubted that Muggles were human. Perhaps a lesser kindof human, but men none the less. But now…well, it was the wings really, they complicated everything. Or a Wing AU in which it is Muggles, and not Wizards, who have wings.
