Fics like The scent of hope

In a world on the brink of collapse and trapped in the despair of Hope's Peak Academy, Makoto Naegi, an **omega** whose presence emanates the soft, comforting scent of **vanilla**, struggles to keep the light of hope alive. Beside him, or rather, in constant opposition, stands Byakuya Togami, an imposing **alpha** whose power manifests in the penetrating, icy scent of **freshly brewed coffee**. At first, the relationship between Makoto's unwavering optimism and Byakuya's cold disdain is a constant battle. But as the deadly killing game pushes them to their limits, Byakuya begins to recognize something deeper in the omega, finding a strange calm in his presence. Moments of vulnerability become unexpected anchors, especially when Makoto's pheromones overflow with despair and Byakuya, against all odds, offers unspoken comfort that seals an unbreakable bond. Outside the academy's walls, in a post-apocalyptic world where despair threatens to consume them, Makoto and Byakuya must learn to navigate their complex connection. Byakuya, though still enigmatic, becomes Makoto's silent anchor, offering comfort and protection through subtle gestures and the powerful presence of his coffee scent.
