Fics like You Deserve Better (But Please Don’t Go Get It)

Thirty-nine-year-old Buggy wakes up in his teenage body at the worst possible moment - mid-argument with Shanks in Loguetown. Before he can process the time travel, he collapses and wakes to a diagnosis that defies logic. He's eight weeks pregnant. Now Buggy faces an impossible choice - recreate the future he knows, or let this unexpected pregnancy change everything. Between Shanks' constant care and his own confusing emotions, the path forward isn't nearly as clear as it should be. Maybe some mistakes don't have to repeat themselves. Or: Buggy's Guide to: (1) Time travel (2) Male pregnancy and (3) Not falling for your best friend (2 out of 3 ain't bad). (Summary edited on 21/09/2025)
