Fics like The Weight of No Restrictions

During a playthrough of Snowgrave chapter 4, the player realizes that something changed: they can speak to Kris. If game mechanics are obsolete, then the player isn’t confined to the choices the game presents. They're free to explore and speak like in the real world... but only after they make Kris finish things with Noelle. People always have Kris and their soul talk, but no one acknowledges why or how that would change things in the world. If I could speak to Kris, then I would save and explore my options, so that's what the player will do. I did my best to portray them as accurately as possible to who we actually are. And why did things change? Because someone is controlling the player’s world this time: I wrote a story with them, and the author has the final say. Enjoy.
