Fics like I Don't Feel Safe

Victor, despite saving his village, doesn't want to return home. The reason? His aunt told him she should have him defanged. So he hides out at Camp Rayburn, trying to get a hold on his emotions. After a confrontation with Vera, he's left feeling even worse until Nova finds him and takes him to meet her father for some comfort from a parental figure. Or: That one line stuck out to me, and I couldn't not make an angsty fanfic from it. Like, I'm sorry, being defanged sounds horrific, allow me to make angst from that. There should have been a bit more of a reaction from the vampires after that line. Also, FireFly (Victor/Nova) because they're amazing, and I need more of them.
