Fics like A Change For The Better

“You've been calling in sick a lot lately,” he continues. “You've been tired, and you've had all these headaches... Are you sure you're okay? I could take you to the doctor tomorrow.” “I'm okay, Makoto,” she assures him. Her smile breaks for just a second, and when it returns it's clear that she's trying to fight it back. Her hand runs in a gentle circle around her belly. “I think... something changed for the better.” It's only then that he realizes she's not clutching at her stomach in pain. She's holding it protectively. ---- Ten years after they met, Makoto and Yukari find themselves expecting a baby. Together, they face the changes and trials of pregnancy. Memento Vivere AU - ShuYuka
