Fics like Never forget to read the terms and conditions

Wenona said it was perfectly safe. It wasn’t. Her new “bonding compound” — an airborne chemical meant to boost cooperation and trust — accidentally turns Kai into the unwilling target of intense, chemically-induced infatuation. Now everyone from the stoic lawyers to the reckless racers are declaring their undying love for him. With glitter hoverboards. And sonnets. And prenups. The only person not affected? Damon. Silent, brooding Damon. The one Kai’s been crushing on for real. As Kai drowns in grand gestures and emotionally unstable classmates, he starts to wonder: is it worse to be artificially adored… or genuinely ignored? Or Wenona uses her class as test subjects for a new project of hers and instead of the intended affect, everyone is now in love with Kai, expect for some reason Damon is acting exactly the same?
