Fics like Tri-Core Connection

Uzi once thought she had something to prove. To herself, her father, her classmates... her whole colony. If someone once told Uzi that she'd have not one but two drones who she not only had nothing to prove to, but that fancied her for who she was in more than a little way, she'd have assumed it was a roundabout insult, as usual. If you'd told her that said drones were also, in fact, the very same vampire-core winged demons she'd spent most of her time plotting to vaporize? She'd KNOW that was the case, and you'd get a very pointed "Bite me!" in response. Well, regardless of what past Uzi thought, current Uzi'd tell her to get with the program. 'Cause that was coming whether she believed it or not, and once she had it, she knew she wouldn't trade it for anything on any world. OR: Uzi Doorman's recounting of canon from the perspective of how exactly she fell in love with and then landed her two (literally) killer partners.
