Fics like Xenoblade Chronicles X: BLADE Shenanigans Edition

(Takes place before, during in-game, and in my Future AU. Contains spoilers from my Future AU fic "We Will Seize The Future") Yes, saving humanity is important. Yes, completing missions, slaying Tyrants, and filling out your Collectopedia is vital. But let’s be honest—sometimes the real grind is surviving downtime. Whether on Earth, Mira, or any other planet or universe, BLADE operatives aren't just soldiers—they’re a chaotic, dysfunctional, found family of their own making. Between miscommunications, pranks, heart-to-hearts, and one too many “unauthorised” field tests, this is what happens between the missions. After all, we’re not robots—we're feeling beings. And what’s life without a bit of chaos? (M): Mature rating Latest Chapter: "Fake It Til You Make It" Even the best can doubt themselves—especially when you’re BLADE’s new commander. Elma’s learning the hard way that leadership isn’t just strategy, it’s surviving your subordinates’ chaos… and maybe facing a little “simp” energy along the way.
