Fics like Time Flies Through Scattered Feathers

Odysseus had finally made it home to roost, safe with his wife, son, and great-grandfather. He had even been making amends with Athena as of late- it was hard not to, seeing how good she was with Telemachus. But he still had his nightmares. Of course he did. And while being back on open sea with his crew wasn’t the standard setup, seeing everyone he had once loved was pain enough and he knew it would get worse. Except, he never woke up. Instead he started to change things. And oh, that was more terrifying than a nightmare ever could be. Or: Odysseus from “I’ll Be Home With Frayed Feathers” by FictionForLife_NZ wakes up the day after his crew depart from Troy, despite having made it home to heal.
