It started with the smell. A rotten odor that was a combination of something similar to the disgusting gas station bathroom in a sketchy part of town he once had to use, fish, a sickly sweet scent that was reminiscent of eating too much candy, and, strangely, metal was mixed in as well. Now, he keeps hearing a creaking and clunking noise following him. It's so loud, and he hears it everywhere. Even now, as he sits in his office alone with his head in his hands. He stares down at his desk. Every second he can hear it.
