Fics like you see everything, you see every part, and you're still here

For as long as they’ve known one another, Akk and Aye have disagreed on just about everything. The one thing they could agree on was this: that summers were the worst. Every year for as long as Akk can remember, Aye and his mother have traveled down to the coast to stay with Akk’s family for the summer holiday. In an ideal world, it might have been the perfect setting for two boys of the same age: a seaside escape from city life for Aye, or a partner in crime to accompany Akk on summertime escapades and fun. Unfortunately, their reality couldn’t have been further from the truth - Akk and Aye have clashed from their first meeting at the age of 8, and each year since then has only added fuel to the fire. Akk can’t stand that instead of hanging out with his own friends, he’s forced to make nice with a privileged city boy who thinks the world revolves around him. Aye detests that the only long vacation he gets a year must be spent away from his beloved uncle and friends back at home, and instead with the most stuck-up and sanctimonious kid he’s ever met. It only takes a day for them to instantly dislike one another. It takes ten summers—and a winter that changes everything—for them to fall in love.
