Fics like An Exercise on Patience

“You’re supposed to take it close to your heat. Did you read the instructions?” “No. I figured a heat inducer would, you know, induce your heat whenever you fucking want.” Seungmin sighs loudly. Why is this so hard? Changbin’s into him, that’s obvious. And usually Seungmin is a straightforward kind of guy. He’s an omega, Changbin’s an alpha—it’s like a match made in heaven. So why can’t Seungmin just pull him aside and say “hey, I’m into you. We should get coffee or have sex or both”? - On a weekend trip with their friends, Seungmin takes a heat inducing pill to finally get Changbin to act on his feelings. And it works. Sort of. It just takes a couple of tries.
