Fics like Home Again... Again

"So, you back in Odyssey for good, or am I gonna be reading another missing persons ad in the paper tomorrow?" Jason tried for a grin that flopped majorly, morphing into more of a wince. "Yeah, about that..." "Yeah, 'about that,'" Richard mimicked. "We've spent all day not talking 'about that,' and at first, I didn't think I wanted to hear any of your excuses, but now I'm not so sure. Could be interesting." "Richard, I'm sorry," came the defeated sigh. "I know I... I shouldn't have left like that. But with everything that happened, I—" "Yeah, yeah." Richard shrugged. "I know, you had all that secret agent crap to deal with. Easy to see how some things might slip through the cracks." Or, when Jason leaves Odyssey, Richard doesn't know deal. Just when he feels like he's finally coping, Jason reappears and throws a wrench into Richard's less-than-stable emotional stability. A friendship fic rewrite of "Accidental Dilemma" and "Home Again Pt. 1 & 2."
