Fics like Supernova

“Hey, Mr. Stark? If you had to break a promise to someone — like, a big promise — because it was the only way to keep them safe, would you do it?” “Start from the beginning kid.” “You remember, um... a couple months ago? You asked me if I knew that magnetic girl, the one who’s been popping up around the city? And I said no?” ------------ When a mysterious vigilante with unstable magnetic powers crashes into the NYC crime scene, the last thing anyone expects is a teenage girl with an untraceable past and a body insistent on detonating from the inside out. But thanks to Peter Parker, she gets a second chance at life. Heavy with medical realism, this story follows her fight to stay alive and rebuild a life out of grief, tangled identity, and relentless medical care. While being hunted and learning to navigate disability, she begins to ask the question: even in a body forever changed, is there still room to be a hero? (or: the cool disabled superhero that every kid who grew up sick wishes existed but never got)
