“Lixie, please answer. You’re scaring me.” Felix put his phone face down on the bed and rolled over onto his stomach, muffling the feverish buzzing of his messages with a pillow. He imagined Chan's strong frame curled over his computer in the JYP building, up late working as always and waiting, worried, for him to reply. If he left, Chan wouldn’t have to concern himself over another problem. If he was gone, his hyung might even be happy, unburdened by another member who couldn't keep up. It was the best option, and certainly one his mates - Felix swallowed, swiping at his eyes - former mates deserved. What kind of person would place their own meaningless life over the brilliant joy and potential of others? Felix made up his mind. He wouldn’t hold them back anymore.
