Fics like A Chance of Fate

Harry Potter knew the legends of King Arthur and Merlin well. The wizarding world praised Merlin like a god, after all. So when Harry died and met Death, he was given a request: change the fate of Merlin and Arthur before tragedy claimed them both. Fate altered only one detail. Merlin was born a girl named Merlyn. A small change with enormous consequences. Reborn as a dragon hatchling with the strange ability to take other forms, Harry entered the world with magic in his veins and destiny already tangled around his claws. Years later, when he found Balinor's newborn daughter silent and not breathing, Harry took the form of a small bird and helped her draw her first breath. He should have searched for Balinor. Instead, he stayed. Because Merlyn was magic. Because she was alone. Because the world would hate her simply for existing. And Harry knew exactly what that felt like. Now Harry stands beside Merlyn as her protector, determined to change the story of Camelot before fate can turn it into another tragedy.
