Fics like i like hanging out with you more than anyone else

“Why me?” “I … I like doing these things with you.” Felix’s words are quiet when he speaks, after only a moment’s hesitation, his voice like the hum of a hummingbird’s wing, “It’s fun doing them with you. You’re always up for anything, and you never make me feel silly or like I’m too much. You agree to wear matching outfits! None of the others ever would …” Jeongin wants to interrupt him because he simply can't fathom how anyone could ever say no to Felix, but Felix pushes on before he can, “and more than that, it feels like you like it, too. And you laugh at my jokes, and we like the same food at the same time, and you like getting fixated on things with me, like that time we were collecting those keychains from the gachapon machine in that one store in Hongdae.” Felix’s eyes, which had been resolutely glued to Jeongin’s chest and the necklace glittering there, suddenly raise and lock with Jeongin’s. “I like doing these things with you because it feels like you like them, too. Like, really like them. You don’t just pretend to make me happy. I feel like I can be myself around you, more than with anyone else.“
