Fics like Skyfall

In 1999, the young prince of Belgium, Jean-Philippe, disappears without a trace following a family tragedy. The young man struggles to free himself from the yoke of the monarchy and, with nowhere else to go, becomes a maître d' and, from maître d', the love of the life of his adolescence friend, chef Gordon Ramsay. However, the prince's destiny returns to find him, right on the same path he had taken years earlier to escape it. Fifteen years later, after the tragic death of the king—his father—and the heir to the throne—his brother—he is found in unclear circumstances and forced to assume the throne, despite the changes, despair, and painful relationship with his mother, the dowager queen. The title of prince had always bound him; the bonds are heavy, but sometimes they also sustain... and comfort. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: This work does not claim to accurately represent real people.
