Fics like Seasonal

Every year, when winter hit and the ice set in on the isle of Berk, illness came with it. To most of the Vikings, it was annoying - but on their honour and the blood of their ancestors, no one would admit to anything more than a sniffle. Even when the island was full of Vikings with flushed cheeks, a wet cough and fevers that never mixed well with ale and sharp objects. The seasonal illness would make its rounds, and take with it some of the very old, very young, and the frail. It always seemed to try to take one Viking in particular, the village had deemed him frail since birth when he came into the world too soon and too small, but the illness never claimed Hiccup Haddock. Although, it tried.
