Fics like A Slight Case of Normal

The semester at Nevermore ends early. Wednesday disappears without a word. Then a letter arrives—black wax, Morticia’s handwriting, and an invitation no one can refuse. Now Enid and the rest of the Nightshade Society find themselves stranded at the Addams estate, where the garden is dead, the lion is alert, and Wednesday is… different. Scarred. Stronger. Barefoot and flushed, biting into popsicles like they insulted her. She doesn’t want them there. But her parents do. And when they vanish on a “surprise vacation,” they’re left alone with Kitty the lion, a possibly feral Wednesday, and one strict rule: Don’t enter her room. Enid can smell it—something’s wrong. Or maybe just changing. And her inner wolf has opinions. Loud ones. Especially when Wednesday walks by in shorts that barely qualify as legal. The house creaks. The walls whisper. And something upstairs is always moving.
