Fics like i gatti lo sapranno

The Thing, though. The boy-shaped Thing. The Thing is not a metal almost-person, not like Spring is used to. But it is most certainly not a human, either. It's unsettling to look at, somewhere between a corpse long-dead and a carapace long-shed, and it doesn't act like anything living or almost-living Spring has ever met. Most infuriating of all is that the Lady seems to like the Thing, despite how unnatural it is! She welcomes it into Spring’s hotel like a guest and talks to it like a person. The nerve of it all. The betrayal. Spring's hotel has an intruder. It's not quite human, but maybe it's trying to learn how to be one. Spring POV of P from the start of the game until after the King of Puppets fight.
