Fics like you said you were gonna grow up then you were gonna come find me

It has been nine months since they returned to their world and Caspian has not been the same since. Even knowing he has the love and support of the Narnians ruling alone has been painfully lonely in a way he had only just started hoping he could be rid of. The wardrobe had been a desperate bid, one he expected nothing from after Aslan’s decree, still he wouldn’t have been able to forgive himself or move on if he hadn’t tried. But something must have changed because one moment he was stumbling through trees and the next he was tangled up in coats as he fell right through the doors and into a strange wooden room. He hardly believed it could be real until the housekeeper had stumbled upon him screaming.
