Fics like the price of peace

The woman is young—somewhere in her twenties, if Bagi had to guess. Although she isn’t restrained by the guards, she looks as though she’s shrunk in on herself, like she’s expecting to be grabbed at any moment. Given how thin the sheer white dress she’s wearing is, it would be understandable if she had caught a chill. However, considering the fact that it’s nowhere near cold in the room, Bagi guesses that her trembling isn’t due to the temperature. “This wasn’t what I was expecting,” is the first thing Bagi says. Bad still looks far more amused by the situation than he has any right to be as he shrugs. “Well, I suppose they thought that if they gave you a unique gift, it might give them a better chance?” “I suppose so,” Bagi agrees. She steps around the table and makes her way towards the woman. She doesn’t lift her face as Bagi approaches. Now standing closer, Bagi sees that the dress she’s wearing is so thin, it leaves little to the imagination. It’s clear what this offering’s intended purpose is. Bagi receives an unexpected peace offering.
