Fics like KISS THE GUILT OFF MY LIPS [YUNGI]

Set in the early 2000’s in a small town. Yunho has lived in this town all his life and chose to stay back, not entirely out of his own will but more so out of an obligation he placed on himself. He has a simple life, attends church, takes care of his parents and farm animals. He doesn’t expect to find himself drawn to the gas station worker. Mingi wanted to run away from this damned town, as far away from his father as possible, but is stuck here working and living in a gas station. However, once he starts watching the church boy who passes by the station for mass on Sunday mornings, his life doesn’t seem so horrible anymore. The two men find escape in each other, but it leaves Yunho choking on guilt, and Yunho’s guilt leaves Mingi resentful, like he's just some sin Yunho keeps committing and trying to wash off.
