Harry feels like a walking corpse, stumbling around the halls, barely tethered to reality. He is there; he is always back at the battle. He never left. With one last look of the clearing, he twisted on his heel and apparated away. He hadn’t thought of a specific place, like you’re meant to; he had just wished for peace. Harry knows this is how you get splinched, but he didn’t much care. It’s not like he can die anyway.
