Fics like would you stay if she promised you heaven?

“Tomorrow—” It should sting. Should be outrageous, and yet it’s not. It’s—oddly relieving. It makes her laugh. “Make sure to cause a ruckus, then.” Elphaba’s eyebrows knit together, confusion flickering across her face. “I beg your pardon?” “A ruckus,” Glinda repeats, still fighting that strange bubble of laughter in her chest. “You know—chaos, mayhem, general disruption of carefully laid plans. That’s why you’re doing it tomorrow, no?” “Glinda.” Elphaba’s voice carries a note of wariness now. “Do you want me to cause a ruckus at your wedding? Because I will.” — Or, Elphaba visits Glinda the night before her wedding, and Glinda desperately tries to fix things.
