Fics like Lena Can't Communicate (But Kara Gets It)
Lena Luthor is the most admired—and most feared—student at National City High. She's brilliant, elegant, and completely silent. Everyone assumes she’s cold. Untouchable. Maybe even cruel. The truth? Lena’s just… paralyzed. Paralyzed by her own fear of saying the wrong thing, of being seen, of not being enough. Then Kara Danvers walks into her life—sunshine in glasses, kindness wrapped in awkward sincerity—and sits right beside her. When Lena shyly writes her a note that says, “I want to make friends,” Kara smiles and says, “I’ll help you.” She becomes Lena’s first friend. And maybe… something more. A slow-burn, high school AU inspired by Komi Can’t Communicate, where Lena Luthor wants to be understood—and Kara Danvers is the one who finally hears her.
