Fics like i’m all run, you’re all fight

“You’re a real piece of shit, Walker, you know that?” He doesn’t think he was always this angry. Maybe a little mean, a little bitter for no reason other than he could be, but he wasn’t ever really cruel. As a teenager he was popular, but kind. He had a sharp tongue and a quick mind, but he’d never used it to break anybody down, never had a harsh word for anyone. He doesn’t know what the fuck happened to that kid, but now the anger claws at his ribs until his lungs have no room to expand. It’s a physical, tangible thing, the burn of it. White hot, like at any moment he could explode.
