Fics like Sacrifice

The summer solstice is an important day to the worshippers of the sun god: Lord Dream. The preparations must be perfect or else their quaint village will suffer under his wrath. The already strenuous preparations are made even more stressful when the demon, god of the moon, Nightmare, sends his wraiths to the village, destroying and wrecking havoc within. The inhabitants are at a loss of what to do, but they simply keep going, as it's Lord Dream's will. One man won't take it, though. Blue. While he isn't blessed by Lord Dream (something he wants but will never admit), his loyalty is to the village and his friends, and he'll do anything to help keep it safe. With the solstice drawing near, he makes one desperate decision: to bargain with the King of Night. Will it be enough? Will he get Dream's blessing? Will he die in the attempt? Or will he discover something that he wasn't meant to know?
