Fics like rosebud

prince hikari wasn't all too interested in marrying. he always 'considered' the numerous proposals he'd receive, yet never acted on them. the thing that had piqued his interest, lately, was the newly hired boy in the gardens; and the flowers that kept appearing at his bedside each morning. these two things were seeming increasingly correlated by the day. lingqi had only come to the kingdom for work, but he found more of his attention turned toward the handsome prince whose bedroom window overlooked the gardens. although he'd been forbidden from speaking to him by the royal family, lingqi found his way around their ruling with the help of the castle guards; even if his ways of communication seemed a bit unconventional.
