Fics like changes from captivity

Xander's roadtrip after high school goes awry when he ends up captured and shoved in a basement by a crazed human who thinks he has unnatural powers. There's also a strange gaunt vampire locked down there with him; someone who isn't able to attack him without collapsing in pain. Without backup nearby or any friends who know where he is, how is he, a normal non-magical Scooby meant to get out of this alive?
