Fics like Lay on the horn to prove that it haunts me

He thinks he's being scammed, somehow. Made fun of, only not openly. Perhaps that’s why, just in case he's about to be officially dismissed, Marc makes his move: he lunges at Valentino like a starving dog chasing a bone, desperate fingers threading through his hair, digging into it like there's nothing else to hold onto. And he kisses him. Oh, Marc kisses him like it's been forever and not just...hours, not even an entire day from the last time. He doesn’t even breathe until Valentino’s lips part against his, though Marc doesn't miss his irritatingly cheeky grin. “Just in case you changed your mind,” he says, working around his already labored breath. Valentino's fingers close around his nape, squeezing just so. “No, why would I?” It tingles him in a way Marc has rarely experienced. Only with Valentino. Always with Valentino. Or Marc and Valentino make a bet in the wake of the Qatar Grand Prix.
