Fics like Avarice; Clawing for the Devil's Pence

Sword Art Online has ended in truth, the last sad remains of the game shuffled off and away to where they'll never hurt anyone again. The wounds remain, though, and Ayano Keiko feels the scars itching. Her crown of dragon-feathers and dagger might be left behind in a ghostly sea of pixels, but memories remain no matter how much the world wishes them buried. Worse, her friends are growing older and more distant, life dragging them apart. One fateful dinner and one more fateful night will change that, a single four-pointed star giving Silica the iron and fire to weld herself to the heroes she's loved so dear for saving her life. Once, she danced with a feathered rhyme dragon over the oldest stones in the digital world, laughing and singing for the flower that brought her greatest friend back. Now, though, the flower drips black and the earth becomes a place where magical girls fear to tread. Will that stop her? No. With love and lightning by her sides, it never will.
