Fics like The Landslide One

“This is TK Strand, paramedic with Austin Fire, 126. There’s been a landslide, we’re about three miles up the North-North-West trail with fire passing overhead. It’s hot in here but we’ve got at least four people alive,” at least, he said, but that did not stop him from saying, “we’re still finding the rest,” because they were all going to make it out of this – “requesting immediate assistance. Does anyone copy?” _ Volunteering in Californian wildfires, the 126 is caught in a major landslide that swallows the firetruck whole, throws several of them from the cabin, and does nothing to put out the fire raging overhead. They're hurt, exhausted, and determined to keep each other alive.
