Fics like just wait until tomorrow (it might not be as cold)

Shimin, a vermilion bird hybrid, has spent years imprisoned by the military. There's no hope of escape, until... until an angry, hissing, murderous fox hybrid called Zetian gets locked in the same cell as him. She's not happy about it. And she's going to do whatever it takes to escape, even if it means dragging him with her. Or: He was a bird, she was a fox, do I need to say more?
