Verso won – but victory left him hollow. When the soul of Verso takes his hand, glimpses of Verso’s journey with Expedition 33 prompts him to offer Verso a chance to Paint; to mend the world and the wounds of the past; to give him and his friends an opportunity for a better life. All it took was a second glance back at the woman he had unintentionally fallen for. How could he rest knowing that look of silent disbelief and anger was because of him? With memories intact and fractured hearts, Verso and Lune relive their journey to mend their world, to heal the Dessendre family, and to confront the feelings between them buried beneath the trauma. Or A New Game Plus fanfic retelling of Expedition 33, where Lune and Verso are sent back to before the 33 Gommage. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Fanfic/ToRecoatOneself
